The mandatory trash issue I oppose because it raised the fee for everyone. The cost to me was $15.00 every three months and I took care of my trash taking it to the Transfer Station. Now it cost me four times as much and I can't even take the trash my self. One person living in a home has to pay the same amount of money as a house hold of 4 people. With no option to or choise. No consideration for composting and recycling. A terrible decision by the people in the city council. One is gone and the other are being challenged and rightly so.!!! I made my points in a public meeting when the "edict" by council was made public. The council member who made the decision on my district is no longer around and rightly so. I feel if you are going to represent people you better let them know and reach and get the true concensus of the constituents.

Enough for now that the City of Fernley is profiting from the Trash Pro fee of 60.00+ fee a month levied on every house hold. I still feel bretrayed and cheated by the decisions made by the City Council and the Mayor.
