Fallon. Stillwater Firearms Association will host the International Confederation of Revolver Enthusiasts (ICORE) Midwest Regional Revolver Championship, September 22 and 23, 2012.
Approximately 100 shooters from around the region and across the country are expected to compete, including several Grand Master and Master class shooters. “This promises to be an exciting event,” said Match Director Nathan Carmichael, “We have top shooters coming from several states, from Connecticut to California.”
Shooters will negotiate 10 stages firing an estimated 25,000 rounds down range as they compete for the regional title in ICORE's Open, Limited and Classic divisions. Each division is comprised of Grand Master, Master, A, B, C and D classes; shooters compete for awards in each division and class. Additionally, honors will be awarded in the categories of Senior, Super Senior, Junior, High Lady, Law Enforcement, Military, and Six-shot Revolver.
Each registered competitor is also eligible to win firearms and accessories graciously donated by several manufacturers.
Open to the public with no admission fee, the match will be held at the Stillwater Firearms Association Shooting Range, 3245 Indian Lakes Road, Fallon. Competition begins at 8:00 a.m. daily; awards to be presented at noon on Sunday. Don’t miss this opportunity to see some of the best revolver shooters in competition! Eye and ear protection required.

Founded in 1991, ICORE serves the international community to promote action-shooting competition with revolvers. ICORE combines elements of the Bianchi Cup, International Practical Shooting Confederation, and the Steel Challenge into demanding competition exclusively for revolvers.
