Consider this: There are 5 people on a government board getting ready to pass an assessment that will raise the property taxes of 20,000. One of them is up for re-election. He knows if he votes against the assessment it will still pass 4 - 1. So he is safe to vote against it and return to his constituents preaching how he stood up against the rest. He there-by secures his position. The other four? Well they know you will never remember when the next voting cycle arrives. Is that what happened in Fernley? You really should vote against all members of the City Council – they are ALL to blame for this anti-American obscenity.
