EPA Announces $44 Million to Improve Water Quality, Infrastructure in Arizona, Nevada

SAN FRANCISCO – The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency announced $44 million in funding to Arizona and Nevada for investment in statewide improvements in local drinking water and wastewater infrastructure and the reduction of water pollution.

The Farmers Almanac forecast says that our summer will be hotter than normal, with above-normal rainfall. The hottest periods will be in mid- and late June, early July, and mid- to late July.

Pershing County Sheriff’s Office has been searching for Missing Man

The Pershing County Sheriff’s Office has been searching for, and is currently looking for information concerning the welfare and whereabouts of Jeffrey Kirkwood. Kirkwood is a 53 year old man from Arkansas who was camping in the Buena Vista valley near Fencemaker.



A Pershing County Deputy had incidental contact with Kirkwood on April 16, 2015. Ranchers in the area also saw Kirkwood in the area and noticed he seemed to stay from his camp site for a few days before…
