People around town have often made the statement that they don't know what side FernleyNews.com is on.

All I can say to that is -- HOORAY!

I think I'm on the right track - and from our reader feedback they find it a refreshing approach.

In this day and age, it's a good feeling to be able to offer "straight from the horses mouth" publications when so many of the outlets today consistently add slant for the main purpose of ratings or sales.
Oh I'm sure there will be a gotcha moment in FernleyNews.com and our community network from time to time, but it won't be staged or instigated.

Rest assured if you write it and we accept it, it will be printed in it's entirety.
My personal thoughts on this -- If you've taken the time to write it, you deserve the courtesy of having your hard work presented in its entirety whether it be an article, commentary or press release.
New concept? I certainly hope not.

A personal note:
Most of you that have spoken to me know that my personal opinion NEVER shows up in what I produce for FernleyNews.com.
However, I don't sugar coat my words. So if you really don't want to hear my "personal opinion", don't ask. I enjoy passionate sometimes heated discussions, but I cut it off when it turns argumentative, abusive, or emotional.
