Gay Idle

Hello everyone!!
Rod and I are loving this church planting journey in here in Fernley. We have been in Fernley since the end of January,2009. We are really enjoying getting to know so many wonderful people here in Fernley! This is a new and exciting adventure for us! Our "Grand Beginning" date for Journey Community Church of Fernley was September 13,2009 it was an awesome day with over 200 in attendance !! We started out meeting at the Highschool,but are now meeting in the warehouse building on 95a ,behind the Quikstop, and next to the intermediate school. Please feel free to check us out on Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m.!!
I have been married to my college sweetheart, Rod Idle, for twenty seven years now and we have two beautiful children(not so much children anymore). Our daughter, Lyndsay, is 23 years old and serves as our Worship Minister as well as working with the youth. She is a very gifted young lady and a joy to be around! Our son, Bradley, is 25 years old and has also moved with us to Nevada from Virginia. He is presently recovering from a brain trauma event caused by a rare migraine condition. We praise God that he is expected to eventually regain all that was lost in the event...and he hopes to resume his third year of college and go into the ministry as soon as he is able. In the meantime we are so grateful to have him with us as ,even with this, God has enabled him to minister to people in a very unique way.
We have had many unique life experiences, and I am sure many of you have as well. I am looking forward to sharing with you all of what God has taught us and brought us through, and sharing in this new venture as well. God Is Good!!!!
