by Fernley News The second grade classes at East Valley had their second annual science day! The students rotated through different stations and were able to get some hands-on science exploration. Some stations included; using microscopes, experimenting with sound, using their sense of sight, tie-dying shirts, and even observing what happens when liquids are combined to make something called “sludge fleas”. They had a fantastic day!

by Fernley News The students at East Valley were able to participate in a science experiment conducted by the fourth grade students. The students designed a box with a raw egg so that when the box was dropped the egg would not crack. The eggs were dropped from a scissor lift by the Kirk McCallum and the Principal, Claudia Fadness to the ground below.
