Fernley News Network: Taking the Community To A New Level

August 27, 2009

Some of you have gone to the expense of marketing your business in TV commercial format.

But what do you do with the video after it's done?

Keep it on a shelf? Absolutely not!

Today's online media presents many options to give your made for TV commercial a "Second Life"

. . . and here's how.

1. Upload your commercial to multiple video sites like YouTube, Google, MySpace and metacafe for a start.

2. Set up a page on an active social network. Preferably FernleyNews.com Network Community if you're in the regional area.

3. Use the "Videos" section and place the code in the embed videos section from other video services.

4. Make sure you add a title and description along with key words for people who are searching to find your video.

5. A very important step to remember when marketing your video is to make sure you have your contact information in the description as well as on your network page. (When folks see a product they like they will NOT search for your information. Make it easy for them to contact you!)
Out of every 500 people that watch your video, 100 may show an interest. Out of that 100 people you may get 5 that are really interested in your product or service. If you haven't given the contact information or it's hard to find, the percentage of people actually contacting you after searching may be as little as one. So make it easy for your potential customers.

6. Use cross network advertising methods. Link everything back to the source - and to each other!
If you don't know what that means we can definitely help out on this issue and the steps listed above and do it for you.

Where Do I Start?
You can start by becoming a member of our community network and designing you page for your business.

How can we help?

We network and syndicate our advertisers. Here's a few ways we do it.

When you join our Video Merchant Gallery at FernleyNews.comwe upload and syndicate your made for TV commercial for you, as well as design your page using your business logo, video, map, motto, description of services and hours of operation. We can also incorporate your blog into your Video Merchant Page. (This is a separate area from our community location.)

We can also supply front page advertising that links directly to your network page or video merchant page. Either way the pages are cross linked meaning if a client hits one of your pages, it will lead to your additional locations.
For main news page wholesale advertising click here.

Merchants who exceed $40 a month in advertising costs will also receive multiple links within our network pages and sites.

And finally, when you're in our network - your links, social pages ad pages, coupons and general advertising carries more weight in the search engines because it's associated with FernleyNews.com.
We hold the #1 position for Fernley News.

Think of us as the engine of a train. Our advertisers are our boxcars.
