Event Description

“Memory Bears” Can Help a Grieving Heart.

XL Hospice is inviting anyone who has lost a loved one to participate in a free, hands-on Memory Bear workshop on Wednesday, October 10th from 1pm-4:30 pm at Body Balance Wellness Center, 1680 West Williams Ave, Fallon NV.  What makes a Memory Bear so special is that it is made out of an article of clothing that belonged to a deceased loved one.   XL Hospice will provide the supplies for assembling the bears, such a thread and the sewing machine.  Community participants need only bring their clean article of clothing. Together XL Hospice volunteers and staff will assist with cutting, sewing and stuffing of the bears. No sewing experience is necessary on the part of community participants.  This event is open to any member of the community who have lost a loved one, not just for participants who have used XL Hospice for their loved ones.

Call 423-9511 and ask for Lloyretta and sign up and coming dates for this free workshop.  RSVP required.

Company Info: XL Hospice is a Medicare/Medicaid certified hospice which has been providing care to our community for over 6 years.
